A fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established firm of Accountants within their bookkeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Sales and purchase ledger duties
- Bank / credit card reconciliations
- Preparation / submission of VAT returns and CIS returns
- Credit control
- Managing supplier payments
- Posting journals
- Preparation of management accounts
- Assisting with preparation of year end files
The firm predominantly uses Xero software, so you must have previous experience using this. Any previous experience working within a firm of accountants or similar would be highly beneficial. The company are ideally looking for someone to work full-time, but they do offer flexibility in start and finish times, and their office closes at 1.30pm on a Friday.
