Our client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll processor to join their busy team in the Bordon area. They have a great environment and you will often find that they have friendly dogs in the office. The working hours are condensed into 4.5 days so that you receive a Friday afternoon off every week. They will consider part time candidates.
Main Bookkeeping Duties
- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Bank and Credit card reconciliation
- Submitting VAT & CIS returns
- Credit Control
- Managing supplier payments
- Working with incomplete records
- Posting Journals
- Reconciling control accounts
- Preparing management accounts
- Preparing year end file for our accountants
Skills and Knowledge
- Accountancy practice industry experience is essential
- Experience using Xero
- AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher
- Experience running payroll would be a nice to have
Salary and Hours
- Up to £33K
- 37.5 hours - 8.30-6.00 Mon-Thurs and 8.30-1.30 Fri or part time hours considered
