Our client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll processor to join their busy team in the Bordon area. They have a great environment and you will often find that they have friendly dogs in the office. The working hours are condensed into 4.5 days so that you receive a Friday afternoon off every week. They will consider part time candidates.

Main Bookkeeping Duties

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Bank and Credit card reconciliation
  • Submitting VAT & CIS returns
  • Credit Control
  • Managing supplier payments
  • Working with incomplete records
  • Posting Journals
  • Reconciling control accounts
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing year end file for our accountants

Skills and Knowledge

  • Accountancy practice industry experience is essential
  • Experience using Xero
  • AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher
  • Experience running payroll would be a nice to have

Salary and Hours

  • Up to £33K
  • 37.5 hours - 8.30-6.00 Mon-Thurs and 8.30-1.30 Fri or part time hours considered
  • Pension
  • On site parking
