Administrative Assistant & PA
  • Annual Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 (D.O.E)
  • Location: Near Borehamwood
  • Job Type: Full-time Office Based
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am - 4:30pm

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant & PA with high attention to detail and confidentiality who will report directly to the UK Managing Director for our International client.  This role offers the opportunity for a proactive individual to join a well-established organisation which has a family-run feel. You will be involved in a broad range of administrative tasks and PA activities, along with the opportunity to work on specific projects across the business. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain and update HR files, both electronic and manual.
  • Administer the pension scheme and support recruitment processes.
  • Manage administration for starters and leavers.
  • Oversee vehicle administration and database maintenance, including management of company vehicles, fines, car hire, and fuel cards.
  • Handle vehicle insurance matters, including declarations, accident reporting and claims, and reporting fleet changes.
  • Maintain IT databases, log and label equipment, store and maintain new and old equipment, place new orders, and set up hardware.
  • Support the business with travel arrangements, hospitality, and direct support for the Managing Director as required.
  • Organise company events.
  • Support senior managers with specific projects from across the business on an ad hoc basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to think outside the box.
