Communications Officer

Hybrid working - office in Borehamwood

Full Time (Monday - Friday)

Tate are working with a local authority in their search for a Communications Officer. You will join a collaborative team focused on campaigns, social media, video work, internal communications, and surveys. This role is primarily geared towards internal communications but includes some external tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce engaging video content, including 1-minute clips
  • Utilise Adobe Premiere Pro for video packages
  • Design graphics for various communications
  • Manage and understand social media platforms
  • Support diversity events and wellness days
  • Assist with change communication initiatives
  • Handle various tasks as needed, including postage packing

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in video production and graphic design
  • Strong understanding of social media
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a small team
  • Experience in local government or public sector is desirable but not mandatory
