Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards
- Manage and lead a team of care staff, providing support, supervision, and professional development
- Ensure the provision of person-centred care that meets the individual needs and preferences of residents
- Develop and implement care plans, monitor outcomes, and make adjustments as necessary
- Handle administrative duties, including budgeting, staffing, and maintaining accurate records
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential care setting. - Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in residential care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to develop and implement effective care plans
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for providing high-quality care
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 or equivalent)
- Previous experience managing a Residential Care Home
