Main Responsibilities as a Complaints Handler
- Assess and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting good customer outcomes.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, resolve queries, and liaise with internal/external parties as necessary.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and implement corrective actions and improvements.
- Accurately input data, complete related paperwork, and adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Support team members and assist with departmental administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Monitor workloads to avoid regulatory or reputational risks, achieve performance targets, and maintain punctuality and attendance.
- Follow Health and Safety regulations and contribute to a safe, organised working environment.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by senior management.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Customer service experience
- The ability to communicate effectively
- Previous experience within a complaints handling role
- Finance or Insurance industry experience
