Cosmetic Account Handler

The Company:

A well-respected broker that specialises in medical malpractice are looking for a Cosmetic Account Handler to join their team. Their clients include medics, non-medics such as doctors, dentists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, nurses, operating department practitioners, physiotherapists, paramedics, pharmacists and beauticians.

The Role:

  • Maintain and enhance existing Client relationships ensuring that the premium income contributes to the achievement of your own and the departments financial targets
  • Ensure a full understanding of all terms and conditions relating to all Cosmetic Insurance products, pricing and processing
  • Assist with the preparation of events and exhibitions and attend these events, where required (these may be at weekends).
  • To keep up to date with industry news and developments ensuring that your technical knowledge is kept current
  • Actively acquire new Client relationships contributing to the achievement of your own and the department's financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with Insurer partners, affiliates and other appropriate third parties.
  • Ensure that all documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations

The Candidate:

  • Experience in an insurance environment is essential
  • A sales focused approach whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is provided at all times
  • Desire to progress toward Cert CII qualification
  • Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others
  • To have good organisational skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-moving environment
