Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible, part-time role? A private healthcare company in Borehamwood is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multiple payrolls from start to finish with accuracy and speed.
  • Enter new starters, leavers, changes to details, statutory payments (SSP, SMP), and input hours into Sage 50 Cloud Payroll.
  • Manage auto-enrolment for pensions and process net payments through online banking portals.
  • Submit FPS (Full Payment Submissions) to HMRC.
  • Liaise with off-site care home administrators to ensure all payroll deadlines are met.

Person Specification:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar payroll role.
  • Proficient in Sage 50 Cloud Payroll.
  • Knowledge of tax, NI, statutory payments, and pension auto-enrolment rules.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
