Are you an experienced Property Director looking for something new and meaningful? Join Elysium Healthcare as the Property Director and become an integral part of helping some of the most vulnerable people in society.

You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management and operational excellence for Elysium’s property portfolio. This role will see you maintain and improve current facilities, ensuring compliances with all relevant regulations and leading on expansion projects to support the company’s growth plans.

With your previous commercial experience in the Healthcare sector and project management, you’ll thrive in dealing with contracts and contractors, and help build better facilities for some of the most vulnerable people in society.

You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Quality and Regulations Director and Procurement Director, while managing two regional reports.

As a Property Director, you will be:

  • Overseeing the management of all 90+ sites, ensuring each property is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Developing, monitoring, and controlling budgets related to property management and capital projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Ensuring all properties comply with healthcare regulations, health and safety standards, and other relevant legal requirements.
  • Managing and mentoring the property management team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with property management and development.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Property Director or similar senior managerial role within a complex multi-site organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and real estate principles.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of property-related legal regulations and standards.
  • Ability to manage large budgets and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

The role will see you based at home, with an expectation to work from Head Office (Borehamwood or Luton) and at sites across the UK at least 3 days a week.
