In this position, you will support the procurement department in achieving the company's goals related to cost, quality, and performance.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in procurement or supply chain management who possess strong planning and organisational skills.

Role responsibilities of the Procurement Administrator include:

  • Liaising with suppliers, answering queries relating to pricing, preferred supplier list tiering and training compliance
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Maintaining and encouraging the use of the PSL at regional level
  • Overseeing contracts, sending to supplier for signing and then onto internal parties
  • Building and developing critical internal stakeholders' relationships
  • Escalating and resolving supplier queries with Accounts Payable

Person Specification of the Procurement Administrator:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain
  • High standard of IT skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software
  • High standard of verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Keen drive to progress career

Salary

Up to £28k
