NO NIGHTS – do you want to come off shifts and work days? Monday to friday 8 hours?

Pay Range: Up to £42K plus overtime

Contract Type: Permanent

Monday to Friday Days 7.30-3, plus Overtime, training and development and coluntary call out 

Our client is a large Global  manufacturer with a global footprint. It is an established site with an established LONG SERVING engineering team. Staff retention is excellent. Training, development, and support is provided on a manufacturing site. You will help the site make high-quality processed products.

We have a  permanent vacancy is for a Mechanical  Bias maintenance engineer to focus on

Key Responsibilities – Days Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

  • Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production
  • Leading electrical and instrumentation, repair, and working with s CMMS.
  • Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes of mechanical engineering faults
  • Design, trial, and implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
  • Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.

Qualifications & Requirements – Days Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in a mechanical  engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
  • Manufacturing Industry experience
  • Fitting, Fabricating and Weldsing experience preferred 
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
