We’re hiring an EHS Lead to provide day-to-day environmental, health, and safety (EHS) support for a major project in Edinbane.
Role Overview:
- Location: Edinbane
- Rate: Open (Inside IR35)
- Contract: 12 months
- Accommodation: Self-funded
- Start: ASAP
- Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Site EHS Lead, providing direct support to field service teams
- Conduct inspections, audits, and training to ensure safety compliance
- Work closely with contractors and customers on EHS planning & execution
- Serve as the first point of contact for EHS-related issues on-site
- Monitor and enforce safe working practices in line with regulatory standards
What we’re looking for:
- EHS experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Previous experience on National Grid sites preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to lead EHS training, risk assessments, and incident investigations
