Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Compliance & Training Manager to join their business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Monitor and maintain compliance with procedures, ensuring all food safety, quality, and legality requirements are met, including HACCP, BRC, and customer specifications.
* Develop, review, and enforce company policies and procedures, keeping them aligned with industry standards and best practices.
* Create and deliver engaging training programmes for staff, identifying skill gaps, maintaining training records, and ensuring all mandatory training is up to date.
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and keeping procedures current and effective.
* Identify and implement Technical KPIs to drive business performance, working with teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Investigate food safety and safety incidents, reporting findings, implementing preventative measures, and liaising with enforcement agencies when required.
* Conduct internal audits, manage document control, and oversee traceability exercises to maintain robust quality management systems (QMS).
* Build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers, ensuring clear communication on all technical and training matters.

About you:

* Experience with BRC audits is required
