Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
? Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
? Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
? Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
? Deliver catch-up sessions
Non-negotiables:
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
- Must have a passion for education
- Enrich the learning experience for gifted and SEN students.
- Establish one-on-one mentoring and provide solace to students in distress.
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
