Through continued growth, a multi-site SME business are seeking a talented Accounts Assistant to work with the Financial Controller to support the day to day accounting activities across a number of subsidiaries within the Group. Your responsibilities:• Processing transaction on both payables and sales ledger• Reconciling creditors and debtor accounts• Payment runs• Posting payments and allocating cash• Bank Reconciliation• Credit card processing and allocation• Checking supplier details and setting up accounts• Checking elf-billing agreements and renewals• Maintaining the Asset register• Monitoring budget figures• VAT returns• CIS returnsSuitable applicants will have a number of years of experience in a fast-paced environment with proven experience across ledger and reconciliation work. Knowledge of Sage, and Microsoft application is desirable with Excel to LookUps and Pivot tables. Good attention to detail; whilst maintaining the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is critical. You will be an excellent communicator with a confident telephone manner with the ability to build relationship with customers and suppliers. The desire and determination to develop professionally and grow with the needs of the business is also preferable.
