Recruiting for our brilliant client based in Bourne, Lincolnshire - looking for a highly effective Accounts Receivable Manager with excellent people and process management skills to lead their five strong Sales Ledger team.

A hands-on role, managing a team of Sales Ledger Clerks, to ensure prompt collection of monies owed through development of robust KPIs, building relationships with key contacts at key customers, and performance management of the team.

As Accounts Receivable Manager you will

  • Create the credit control strategy by building a structured approach to debt management including an audit of the Customer database.
  • Devise a debtor management programme implementing a robust remedial action plan as customers hit specific debtor milestones.
  • Ensure timely production of customer statements.
  • Sales ledger reconciliations to deadlines, including narrative and commentary on issues and risk.
  • Assist in negotiating best deal credit insurance and ongoing communication with insurer regarding aged debt.

This is a key role partnering across the business to ensure timely payment of invoices - communication is key, working with your counterparts in sales and customer services to ensure all invested parties are aware of issues, and support on resolving these as a team.

You MUST have previous experience working in accounts receivable, and in managing credit risk. You will have a CICM qualification and demonstrate the positive impact you have had in previous roles.
