About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across different year groups, covering a range of subjects within the primary curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of the students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to the school.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and consistent learning experience for all pupils.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching within the primary school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A current enhanced DBS check on the update service.
