We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team in a Client Executive Role aimed towards progressing into a Client Executive position. This role involves supporting the Client Manager to achieve profitable sales and distribution of our clients’ products across the UK, aligning with both client and company objectives.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage P&L spreadsheets, monitor profitability by SKU and account, analyse trends, and implement measures to maximise ROI.
  • Oversee client trade spend, ensuring all trade invoices are documented to prevent financial exposure.
  • Generate and manage trade sales reports, providing trends and gap analysis.
  • Prepare for and participate in client review meetings.
  • Support the sales force with gap analysis, trade presentations, sales aids, category solutions (including planogram recommendations and POS), regular sales updates, and trade promotional plans.
  • Provide a rolling 12-month sales forecast to supply chain and clients.
  • Take full responsibility for cycle preparation, negotiate sales and distribution targets with the client, and present at various sales meetings.
  • Achieve key business objectives as set with the Client Manager.
  • Perform additional tasks related to the job function as requested by the Client Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience within FMCG.
  • Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, preferably within sales, trade marketing, or category management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and forecast.
  • Strategic mindset with robust negotiation skills for making sound commercial decisions.
  • Understanding of category management and core ranging principles.
  • Capable of using PowerPoint at an intermediate level to create compelling presentations.
