- Managing and developing the external communications strategy throughout the business and the public affairs programme
- Taking responsibility for all member communication
- Providing support on the delivery of key corporate activity, such as the annual report and accounts and the AGM
- Producing both engaging and informative communications to be used for external stakeholders
- Managing the coordination and content of various communication materials for both online and offline use
- Managing the company press office, ensuring that proactive and effective media relations and PR programmes are delivered
- Supporting the business during crisis’s
- Leading the management of relationships with partners to leverage opportunities
- Delivering community initiatives, ensuring these are aligned with company ethos
- Taking on duties on both budget management, and the monitoring of targets and outcomes across all activity
- Highly experienced in communications, specifically within a financial services environment
- Able to create, implement and monitor communication strategies
- Able to deliver external communications across online and offline channels
- Strong media relations exposure
- Experience managing communications activity
- Good exposure to running a press office
- Project management skills and experience ideally
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Experience in line management
