CNC Machinist – Bournemouth – Up to £45,000
Are you passionate about precision engineering and skilled in CNC machining? Whether you specialise in milling or turning, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering companies in Poole on a permanent basis.
Purpose
We’re looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our team – both Millers and Turners are encouraged to apply. You’ll be working in a modern, well-equipped facility with a team dedicated to producing high-quality precision components for a wide range of industries.
Benefits
- Competitive salary up to £45,000, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at X1.5
- Four day week or early finish on Fridays

As a CNC Machinist, your key responsibilities will include
- Setting, and operating CNC mills or lathes
- Working from detailed technical drawings and job specs
- Producing high-quality, precision components in both small and large batches
- Performing tool changes, setups, and quality checks
- General workshop duties and maintaining a clean work environment
As a CNC Machinist, you will need
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC Machines
- Either have programming experience or be willing to learn
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
