NET Recruit is supporting a housing business who are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join their team in the Bournemouth area.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:
  • Driving innovative learning and development initiatives across the business
  • Undertaking in-person training needs analysis to promote upskilling of employees
  • Creating and delivering high-quality and engaging training programs and activities
  • Researching and delivering professional accreditation pathways for directorates which are compliant with legislation
  • Supporting the management of the L&D budget, ensuring value for money is gained on resources and providing forecasts and utilising government funding sources where applicable for workforce development
  • Working cross functionally to ensure training material and activities will support business growth and development, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business
  • Leading the continued development of the in-house training academy for management, designing management training programmes for internally promoted managers
  • Facilitating in-person induction training for new hires
  • Establishing strong relationships with external training providers
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • CIPD Level 5 and/or NVQ L4 Certificate in Education and Training and desirable
  • Previous experience delivering training via a variety of platforms such as classrooms, e-learning etc and developing systems for embedding learning and ongoing monitoring
  • Experience undertaking skills gap analysis and developing career pathways for a variety of skills
  • Exposure to working with and implementing LMS platforms would be beneficial
  • Team management skills and experience is needed
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with building and managing relationships with external providers and stakeholders
