Your new roleYou will support the business as a compliance specialist within their central team, covering a diverse range of product types, learning from the Global Compliance Lead as the organisation continues to expand with new sales territories and product categories. What you'll need to succeedYou will have experience in a similar role, working within product compliance, ideally within FMCG or a chemical / fluid manufacturing business, although any compliance background can be considered. In this role you will manage and maintain central records regarding compliance covering all sales territories, and be (or become) the subject matter expert supporting various functions across the business. Any experience of blended liquid products, safety data sheets, REACH compliance, is an advantage, although training can be provided. You will understand how legislation impacts labelling, packaging and product classification, and work with Product Development teams to ensure requirements are met. You will track changes to compliance across all sales territories and research any areas of interest that could have an impact on the business, explaining technical issues and potential impact / risk, in an easily understood format.
