JOB TITLE: Finance Manager

The role:

  • Lead the finance function for the firm, providing leadership and guidance to ensure accurate and efficient financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal accounting rules and regulations
  • Oversee day-to-day activities, such as payment processing, client billing, and financial reporting
  • Bookkeeping duties
  • Oversee the day-to-day cash management operations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the team, partners, and fee earners to provide support and guidance on accounting and finance matters.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and budgets
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and a strong work ethic.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience as a Legal Cashier, with a deep understanding of legal cash management and compliance. Or a high level of bookkeeping experience with eagerness to gain experience within the legal sector
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
  • Professional certification or qualification in finance or accounting is highly desired.
