About the Role:
We are looking for an inspiring Design Technology Teacher who is passionate about fostering creativity and innovation in students. The successful candidate will teach Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to develop practical skills while exploring design processes, materials, and technologies in an engaging and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Inspire and motivate students by introducing them to the principles of design and technology in a creative and hands-on way.
  • Foster problem-solving, critical thinking, and practical skills through engaging projects and assignments.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with the Design Technology department to develop resources and curriculum initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Technology, including CAD/CAM, resistant materials, and electronics.
  • Creative, innovative, and able to inspire students through engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
