CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with an award-winning business based in Bournemouth, Dorset, who have a great brand reputation and an even stronger reputation for being a standout employer in the local market. Working as part of a large finance function, this is an opportunity to join them in a newly created role where you will manage a team of two Payroll Assistants.

Hybrid working is offered with the expectation that the successful candidate will be able to work two days per week in the office.What will the Payroll Manager role involve?

  • Manage one monthly payroll for circa 2700 staff, split across three locations;
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and third-parties;
  • Completion on balance sheet reconciliation & payroll journals;
  • Maintenance & improvement of payroll processes when necessary;
  • Act as a main point of contact for employees to resolve and queries;
  • Daily supervision of two Payroll Assistants.

Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Manager vacancy:

  • An CIPP or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential;
  • Previous experience running a similar size payroll in a large business is required;
  • Previous staff management experience is also highly beneficial.
