GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our schools in the areas of Bournemouth and Christchurch. Starting in January 2025, this position offers the chance to teach and support students during a critical stage in their learning journey while maintaining a flexible work schedule. KS2 Teacher job responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of students, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a respectful and focused learning environment.
  • Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to discuss pupil progress and any concerns.

KS2 Teacher must hold:

  • QTS or PGCE or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a KS2 Teacher in schools is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and key stage 2 requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
