Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist M&E contractor in Bournemouth. The business has a secure pipeline of work in Dorset, with a project on site with a programme of 2 years and on-going works.

About this Quantity Surveyor role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a healthcare scheme for a leading MEP business. You will be reporting into the Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

  • Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
  • Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
  • Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
  • Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
  • Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experience with commercially managing high value M&E projects
  • Knowledge of tender processes and have experience in handling contracts and legal issues.
  • Experience of M&E Quantity Surveying and financial knowledge of construction costs.
  • An understanding of contracts and the tender process as well as being able to read drawings and understand contracts.
