Quantity Surveyor

65,000 - 70,000 basic + Car Allowance & Fuel card + Established Employer + 8 month FTC

A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor on a FTC with possibility for a permanent role when finished looking to join an established company that will be working closely with the commercial director on exciting projects across the South of England. You will responsible for the commercial aspects of engineering projects, contract management and control of costs

The Quantity Surveyor will be based on-site each day ensuring the budgets and deadlines are met. A background in M&E is advantageous, however, having solid experience as a Surveyor is crucial. With huge growth forecasted for this division, there will be possibilities to stay with the company for longer.

Your role as a Quantity Surveyor will include:

* Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction and engineering projects

* Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and provide accurate financial reports to stakeholders

* Identify potential risks, assess cost implications, and implement value engineering strategies

The successful Quantity Surveyor will have:

* Proven experience in commercially managing complex projects using NEC and JCT contracts

* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
