We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager Local to join an internal sales team. This is a pivotal role within the digital construction space. The team prides itself on providing professional services and technologies, and Many of the current field sales team started in this role and have experienced quick career progression based on endeavour and great performance.

27,000 basic with an OTE of 35,000

This a remote role but you will be required to attend Team meetings in Bournemouth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets by maximising delivery against set goals through the acquisition of new business.
  • Speaking to small business owners to discuss their potential needs.
  • Demonstrating the system to its full potential and identifying how this will be an essential tool to the customer's business.
  • Utilising a combination of comprehensive industry and product knowledge, along with a proactive approach to building strong relationships at all levels via telephone communication.
  • Developing a strong pipeline of business providing three times cover of the quarterly sales target.
  • Preparing, presenting, and negotiating compelling business proposals to clients
  • Closing sales over the phone or scheduling further appointments with decision-makers

What we require from you

  • Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills and the ability and confidence to identify and new business.
  • Proficient MS Office skills are essential.
  • Previous experience B2B sales and cold calling
  • Experience working within the construction industry would be desirable.
  • A strong can-do attitude, with ambition and a desire to succeed.
  • An understanding of Salesforce or similar CRM system would be beneficial.
