Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting?

GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a supportive primary school in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on the education and well-being of children with SEN.

SEN TA Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials to suit different learning styles.
Encourage and promote positive learning experiences for SEN students.
Support pupils in developing their confidence, social skills, and independence.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement effective learning strategies.

Who We Are Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Passionate about helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained).
An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
