GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a supportive primary school in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on the education and well-being of children with SEN.

SEN TA Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials to suit different learning styles.
  • Encourage and promote positive learning experiences for SEN students.
  • Support pupils in developing their confidence, social skills, and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement effective learning strategies.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
  • Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Passionate about helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained).
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
