Senior RF Engineer job in Brackley - £60k - £65k
Hexwired Recruitment is looking for a skilled and driven Senior RF Engineer to join a small, dynamic team dedicated to designing and developing innovative, world-class products.
As a Senior RF Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and the ongoing Sustaining Engineering of existing products, contributing to their continued success and advancement.
Key skills required for this Senior RF Engineer job:

At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role is required.

Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, including PCB design software and RF simulation tools.

Comprehensive knowledge of modern RF components and technologies.

Proficiency in designing linear high-power, wide-band RF amplifiers (up to 200 Watts) utilizing technologies such as GaN or LDMOS.

Expertise in RF filter design.

Familiarity with transmitter and receiver design.

Experience in LNA (Low Noise Amplifier), down-converter, and up-converter design.

Background in antenna design.

Strong working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

Familiarity with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) considerations.

Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, analysers, and signal generators.

Practical experience with PCB prototype testing and rework.
