Operations Manager required for a luxury manufacturer who specialise in the automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a growing business and play an integral role within a team and helping shape the company’s workshop.
The successful candidate will need experience in the automotive industry and will need to have experience leading teams. You will need experience with TIG welding as well as experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
The Operations Manager will initially oversee a team of four however this team size will continue to grow. You will support the team in carrying out TIG welding and fabrication activities by hand and oversee work quality, inventory, and further training.
As the company continue to grow, implementing best practices will be key so this role truly offers the potential to make a significant difference.
The Operations Manager Role:
• Split between workshop and office
• TIG Welding and Fabrication
• Overseeing workshop team (currently at 4)
• Process improvement implementation
• Inventory management – supporting the negotiation of prices with suppliers
