Construction Estimator

Location: Office based - Occasional travel to Brackley (NN13) is essential.
Salary: £30,000-£60,000 per annum, DOE + Commission!
Contract: Full-time, permanent

The School Renovation Company Ltd are building contractors who specialise in Nursery & School building and refurbishment projects in Greater London, the Home Counties and the South East of England!
We have a reputation for delivering a complete, sensitively-delivered service for schools. Our proven capability embraces all aspects of nursery & school building refurbishment.

Our building and refurb projects range from extensions to major refurbishments, alterations / cyclical repairs and building maintenance as well as reactive maintenance among a variety of Nursery, Primary & Secondary schools.

We always work closely with you to minimise inconvenience to staff, parents, pupils and students, because we have extensive experience of working unobtrusively in live nursery & school environments we can offer a flexible out-of-hours service, we fit the work in when it's least disruptive for you.

Construction Estimator - The Role

The School Renovation Company are looking for the above team member to work with us creating engaging, educational and exceptional spaces and inclusive environments for all!

Key Responsibilities;

Attending Site meetings with new clients and managing the initial brief through to conception
Manage the sales cycle and CRM
Produce itemised quotations and estimates
Review tenders and assist in preparing bid documentation
Liaise with external suppliers
Initiate cost reductions without compromising design quality or the clients experience

Essential Skills;

Strong knowledge and experience of creating site surveys
Knowledge of generating Quotations / Bill of Materials
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Space awareness and the ability to visual issues and solutions
Ability to think on the spot and solve our customers problems
Educated to degree level or have relevant work experience (preferably from the construction industry).

Construction Estimator - What we need from you

Key Skills & Experience;

At least 2 years with Construction or Commercial Fit-out
A full UK Driver's License
Be willing to travel occasionally from the office to Brackley, NN13 for client visits and meetings.
