Our Client seeks a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The Financial Accountant would be a detailed-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to be part of a fast paced, dynamic, growing team. The Financial Accountant would be a diligent, commercially minded individual. Dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties of the Financial Accountant include:

  • Prepare bank sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Month-end close process, including journal entries and other tasks.
  • Compile monthly management accounts.
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Production of monthly board packs
  • Production of daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Cash management and cash reconciliations.
  • Reviewing cost control
  • Production of both long term and short-term cash flow forecast along with monthly variance analysis.
  • Production of monthly accounts for individual companies and consolidation of group accounts including variance analysis
  • Preparation of the annual reviews.
  • Preparation of year-end balance sheet analysis for quarterly reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
  • Implement & improve processes/procedures
  • Ad-hoc projects

Requirements/Skills for the Financial Accountant include:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Strong cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record at working in a fast-paced complex and dynamic environment.
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Technical strong
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and multitask.
