We are looking for two experienced individuals who have the following experience:
1. Extensive Social Work and supervisory experience across a range of children's services. 2. Experience of undertaking audits, using different models, tools and frameworks. 3. Experience of working closely and alongside quality assurance frameworks and systems as well as closing of the loop activity. You will be able to demonstrate: • Knowledge and experience of what good and outstanding looks like. • Experience of challenging practice of practitioners and managers and contributing to improvement / transformation plans. • A meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to analyse complex information.• The ability to deliver reflective practice, critique practice, as well as recognising and celebrating good practice. • The ability to identify learning, develop plans and monitor the progress and impact of improvement plans. Key responsibilities will include: • Completing audits of case files, using strength-based tools to assess each area of work to understand the effectiveness of children services to safeguarding and meeting the needs of children and young people.• Scrutinise quality of practice across our front-line teams with a focus on knowing good beginnings have a better chance of making good endings. • Collaborate with social workers, managers and the leadership team to implement quality improvement initiatives. Collate good practice from audits and quality assurance activity across services.• Analysing audit findings, identifying learning and developing improvement action plans. Produce reports of evidence-based evaluations. • Ensure the robust triangulation of audit findings together with obtaining, collating and reporting feedback from children and families and multi-agency partners.• Identify internal policies, procedures and frameworks that require review and update.• Deliver training and guidance to social work managers who undertake audits, quality assurance activity. • Assist with inspection readiness. You will: • Report directly to the First Response Head of Service and/or Principal Social worker• Be based in our offices a minimum of 3 days a week
