- The role involves working from home while covering the South East of the UK, including major cities like London and Brighton.
- Candidates should have a technical sales background with some external sales experience, ideally in the process industries such as chemical and food & beverage.
- An engineering qualification is preferred but not essential, and full product training will be provided.
- The salary package is £50,000 plus commission, a company car, pension, and other benefits.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will work from home and cover the South East of the UK (including Reading, Oxford, Brighton, Slough, Guildford, Hemel Hempstead, Portsmouth, Canterbury, Maidstone, London & surrounding areas).
Were looking for a technical sales background with some external sales experience covering the South East. An engineering qualification is preferred but not essential. Full product training is provided.

Role
Developing new customers and maintaining existing accounts within the South East region
Selling process instrumentation, sensors (Pressure, level, flow), flowmeters, etc to a diverse range of industries
Selling into the process market, including chemical, food & beverage, etc
Working from home covering the South East of the UK (including Reading, Oxford, Brighton, Slough, Guildford, Hemel Hempstead, Portsmouth, Canterbury, Maidstone, London & surrounding areas
Follow-up leads generated by marketing activities
Liaise with various engineering departments
Requirements
Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager or similar
A technical sales background with some external sales experience covering the South East. An engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of measurement related products, flow equipment, valves, pumps, instrumentation, process control, sensors, process equipment, process instruments, metrology, or an engineering sales background selling into the process industries such as chemical, food & beverage, would be advantageous.
Must be based on patch in the South East (including Reading, Oxford, Brighton, Slough, Guildford, Hemel Hempstead, Portsmouth, Canterbury, Maidstone, London & surrounding areas
