Building Control Consultant

A collaborative yet relaxed construction consultancy is looking for a Building Control Surveyor and/or Registered Building Inspector (RBI) to provide expert consultancy services under the BSA 2022. This flexible role requires just one day per week at a social office.

The consultancy handles projects primarily in key sectors, including several high-profile contracts, offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor and/or RBI to advance their career, with clear progression to Senior Consultant or Associate Director.

Building Control Consultant (BSA 2022) Responsibilities

They will be responsible for site inspections over a varied portfolio, which will allow for an exciting time as each week and month will be different. They will be confident within design meetings with clients providing design compliance consultancy under BSA 2022, ensuring designs will be compliant with building control legislation.

Building Control Consultant (BSA 2022) should possess

• A Class 2 Registered Building Inspector (RBI) or 2 years of experience as a Building Control Surveyor
• A member of a professional body: CABE/MICE/RIBA
• A degree in a technical building qualification: Engineering/Civil Engineering/Architecture (preferable)

• 60,000 - 70,000 Basic Salary
