Technical Project Manager - Event Production

Location - Bracknell with regular travel to client sites - FULL UK Driving Licence Required

As the Technical Project Manager, you will provide technical expertise on the majority of events including kit-listing, schematics, technical quotes and on-site delivery of events. This role would suit an experienced event technician looking to take the next step in their career or an experienced Technical Project Manager looking for a new challenge.

Duties:

  • Create and advise on technical solutions for events
  • Provide schematics, kit-listing, full budgeting and technical quotations
  • Carry out risk assessments and method statements as required for H&S compliance on each job
  • Manage technical aspects of each job on site including hands on installation across a variety of disciplines as appropriate/required
  • Provide knowledgeable expertise on technical solutions for complex accredited venue spaces including plans for restricted get in times and protection of the venue
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Warehouse team, Logistics, Scenic and other technical PMs to ensure accurate delivery of all technical aspects of each job
  • Book, brief and manage freelance crew on site as well as secure appropriate equipment & subcontractors or external suppliers as required
  • Complete administration as required for each job including writing and issuing documentation e.g. H&S, crew schedules and collating supplier documentation for the project.
