Our client is growing the number of financial advisers, so they are seeking additional paraplanners. This is a opportunity for an paraplanner wishing to move firms but also for a paraplanner who wishes to move in to a financial adviser role in the future because our clients supports this level of career development

The role is office based with hybrid working flexibility

The Role included but not limited to: -

  • Accurately prepare suitability reports and letters to target deadlines
  • Ensure all client work is compliant and supported with relevant paperwork
  • Undertake comparative research in preparation of client recommendations
  • Complete technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process
  • Perform tax planning analysis
  • Produce and analyse cashflow modelling
  • Understand clients’ overall financial position from independent financial adviser (IFA) fact-finds
  • Discuss client objectives with the relevant IFA, identifying and obtaining necessary client information to prepare the required suitability checks
  • Ensure all client queries are appropriately investigated, and accurate responses given
  • Conduct annual reviews in line with service level agreements

The Candidate

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organising and planning
