About the Role

As an Accountant, you will work closely with the Head of Finance to support the Executive Management Team (EMT) and Principals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in strategic financial planning, including operational budgets and five-year forecasts
  • Oversee revenue recognition and management of pupil fees and additional income streams
  • Lead on Value-Added Tax (VAT) management, ensuring compliance and optimising systems
  • Provide financial governance, reporting, and support for capital and maintenance projects
  • Ensure financial compliance with audit and risk management procedures
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and better decision-making

The Ideal Candidate:
