Grounds Maintenance Operative - Permanent Full-Time Position

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week (additional hours may be available)
Closing Date: 28th February 2025
Our client is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across the Bracknell area, ensuring recreation areas and play equipment are well-maintained. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the facilities provide a safe, welcoming, and attractive environment for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining recreation areas and play equipment.
- Help ensure that the facilities are safe and presentable.
- Carry out manual tasks and operate grounds maintenance equipment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance.
- Good customer service skills with the confidence to handle difficult situations.
- The ability to lift and perform heavy manual tasks in an outdoor environment.
- Experience in ground equipment maintenance is a plus.
- A sound understanding of risk management.
- Relevant qualifications such as PA1/PA6 or LANTRA base machine operations (desirable but not essential, training available).
- Excellent public relations skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Additional Information:
- Flexible working hours are required to meet the needs of the role.
- Interviews will be held on 6th and 7th March 2025 in Bracknell.
