Grounds Maintenance Operative - Permanent Full-Time Position

Location: Bracknell
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week (additional hours may be available)

Our client is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work across the Bracknell area, ensuring recreation areas and play equipment are well-maintained. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the facilities provide a safe, welcoming, and attractive environment for service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining recreation areas and play equipment.
  • Help ensure that the facilities are safe and presentable.
  • Carry out manual tasks and operate grounds maintenance equipment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance.
  • Good customer service skills with the confidence to handle difficult situations.
  • The ability to lift and perform heavy manual tasks in an outdoor environment.
  • Experience in ground equipment maintenance is a plus.
  • A sound understanding of risk management.
  • Relevant qualifications such as PA1/PA6 or LANTRA base machine operations (desirable but not essential, training available).
  • Excellent public relations skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Additional Information:

  • Flexible working hours are required to meet the needs of the role.
  • Interviews will be held on 6th and 7th March 2025 in Bracknell.
