HR Project Manager (Global Payroll Implementation)- 18 Months- Bracknell/Remote- £55-£60 ph inside IR35
A global company are looking for an experienced HR Project Manager (Global Payroll Implementation) to join their team on an initial 18 month assignment. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the end-to-end process of selecting and implementing a new global payroll solution across 90 countries and 4 regions. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage a complex, multi-stakeholder project with significant business impact. The project manager will be responsible for integrating new functionalities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating user training and support.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of both projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including senior management, team members, HR, IT, finance, and external vendors, to ensure project alignment with organisational objectives. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively.
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports for stakeholders and management review.
- Develop and implement a change management strategy to address the impacts of the projects. Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes.
- Oversee the integration of SAP4HANA with existing HR systems and manage data migration activities. Ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Coordinate training programs for HR staff and other relevant employees. Provide ongoing support during and after the transition.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate reporting throughout the project.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Monitor and address issues as they arise.
Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, in HR and payroll projects.
- Experience with SAP and SAP4HANA is highly desirable.
- Experience with Global Payroll implementations is highly desirable
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse regions
- Adaptability and resilience in managing complex, changing environments
- Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience in project management.
- At least 5 years managing large-scale, global IT/HR transformation projects.
- Proven experience in payroll systems implementation and related HR technology projects.
- Experience working in multinational organizations across diverse cultures.
- Knowledge of agricultural or related industries is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong technical understanding of SAP, SAP4HANA, and HR systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex, large budget projects.
- Track record of successful vendor selection and management
- Working in multinational organizations across diverse cultures
