HR Administrator

Location: Bracknell Head Office
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Office-based only)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at Brickability Group. This role provides essential HR administrative support across all our brands, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. You will play a vital role in handling people-related transactions, maintaining compliance, and assisting the wider HR team in delivering an outstanding employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

As our HR Administrator, your main duties will include:

HR Administration & Compliance
  • Providing comprehensive HR administration support across all brands in the Brickability Group.

  • Managing and processing all people-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Ensuring employee records are complete, up to date, and GDPR-compliant.

  • Requesting and processing past employment references.

  • Coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate salary changes and updates.

  • Managing the full absence process, including accurate salary payments and reporting.

  • Updating the online HR information portal with relevant people activity.

  • Preparing letters and documentation for promotions, salary changes, and employment terms.

  • Overseeing the leavers process, ensuring resignations are acknowledged and payroll updated.

  • Managing the authorisation process for all people changes to comply with audit requirements.


HR Systems & Coordination
  • Acting as a super user for HR system

  • Monitoring and managing the HR email inbox, ensuring timely responses and delegation.

  • Scheduling tasks and ensuring completion within deadlines.

  • Alerting the Head of HR to urgent matters requiring immediate attention.

  • Providing general administrative support to the HR and People Team.


Skills & Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (essential).

  • Experience with HR systems (Access HR/PeopleXD desirable).

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

  • Ability to travel to other locations when required.
