Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Credit Collection Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will take ownership of a complex ledger, ensuring the timely collection of overdue payments while maintaining strong relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities:Manage and take ownership of a complex ledger.Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and post.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information within CRM systems.Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers.Meet overdue recovery targets using a structured and methodical approach.Identify and resolve barriers to payment effectively.Proactively manage customer accounts to minimise outstanding balances.Collaborate with sales teams, leasing partners, and other internal departments to resolve customer issues.Handle stopped accounts and escalate to litigation where necessary.Reconcile and resolve complex account discrepancies with precision.Consistently update CRM and credit files with relevant information.Identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Person/Experience Required:3-5 years of experience in credit control.Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships.Experience with CRM systems; familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly desirable.A solid understanding of credit management and collection techniques.Familiarity with financial solutions and economic principles.Proven ability to manage long-term customer relationships effectively.
