The Assistant Financial Controller will support in overseeing five sites across the Yorkshire region.
The role will be predominantly based in Bradford with some capacity for home working, though regular travel to various dealership sites across Yorkshire will also be required.
Main duties of the role:
- Oversee the daily accounting operations across multiple sites.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Engage in detailed data analysis and financial modelling to identify trends and opportunities, supporting the leadership team with actionable insights.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, maintaining robust internal controls.
- Prepare and consolidate comprehensive monthly management accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and accounting standards.
- Proven experience in a similar multi-site or dealership environment
- Experienced producing consolidated accounts at group level
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Tenacious, career minded individual with an appetite for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
