Are you a proactive and detail-oriented accountant looking for your next challenge? We are please to be exclusively partnered with a market-leading manufacturing business as they look to add in a Regional Financial Accountant to join their their team in Bradford.

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this is a key role ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and a deep understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet while completing the statutory accounts and audit prep. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting process for non-manufacturing entities within the UK&I region
  • Lead month-end close, including journal entries, intercompany recharges, and variance analysis
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany settlements, and investigate discrepancies
  • Oversee banking processes, including loan and bank reconciliations, interest postings, and third-party payments
  • Maintain and monitor credit card usage, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding
  • Assist in budget and forecast P&Ls for non-manufacturing entities
  • Support statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes
  • Implement key controls, policies, and procedures across finance
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Strong financial control experience and the ability to challenge processes where needed
  • A problem-solving mindset with experience managing integration projects
  • Confident working autonomously and supporting key reporting deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a "can-do" attitude
