Reporting to the Head of Accounting, this is a key role ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and a deep understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet while completing the statutory accounts and audit prep.Â
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the accounting process for non-manufacturing entities within the UK&I region
- Lead month-end close, including journal entries, intercompany recharges, and variance analysis
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany settlements, and investigate discrepancies
- Oversee banking processes, including loan and bank reconciliations, interest postings, and third-party payments
- Maintain and monitor credit card usage, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding
- Assist in budget and forecast P&Ls for non-manufacturing entities
- Support statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes
- Implement key controls, policies, and procedures across finance
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Strong financial control experience and the ability to challenge processes where needed
- A problem-solving mindset with experience managing integration projects
- Confident working autonomously and supporting key reporting deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a "can-do" attitude
