JHE & Partners are working exclusively with a large, privately-owned Bradford business who are looking for a purchase ledger clerk on a permanent basis. The role is to start as soon as possible.
Working in a small ledger team, this is a busy and demanding role working on high volume invoice processing. Responsible for your own ledger, you will oversee the ledger in its entirety, ensuring a clean ledger at all times. The business operates on an international scale, therefore someone with exposure to foreign currencies are encouraged to apply.
Duties include:
- Matching and coding high volumes of purchase invoices onto the internal system
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements
- Resolving various queries
- Preparing payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing monthly BACS runs
- Ad hoc finance duties required in a small, busy team
The company offers a hybrid working schedule, generally 2 days in office and 3 working from home. Hours are 37.5 with free onsite parking. Salary is dependent on experience, 25 days holiday and auto enrolled pension. Interviews are looking to take place immediately.
