Salary : 40,000-50,000 according to experience

Experience level : Proven professional experience of applications engineering, quotations, tenders, proposals and manufacturing is essential. We cannot consider people who only have academic experience.

The role :

Receiving RFQ / RFI from a customer or potential customer, you will manage large and technically complicated requests for quotes and tenders. You will undertake full project management of the process from enquiry to project close, ensuring communication with the customer and with the internal production team is upheld.

You will compile and issue quotations and and will manage orders relating to projects. This begins with interpreting and understanding the customer's needs and specifcying equipment as per the application requirements. You will managae all documentation relating to projects e.g. technical drawings, datasheets, tags, contracts etc

About You :

  • Have a technical background with ability to learn and understand engineering drawings
  • A formal qualification in engineering
  • Experience with handling projects in an engineering setting - experience with rotating plant, valves, pumps and or fluid handling equipment is advantageous but not essential
  • Proficient in functioning efficiently under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms - experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be a bonus
  • A great communicator, who is confidence, organised and motivated to collaborate
  • Flexibility to assist other key staff members with quoting enquiries as required
  • Based in or around the Yorkshire region, idally W. Yorkshire
