Skills Required
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Press brake DNC experience is desired
- Strong knowledge of press brake operations and techniques
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges - Skilled in fabricating metal parts according to specifications
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in metalworking
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work - Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and tooling requirements
- Select appropriate tooling and install it onto the machine
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions

Pay Rate: 16.70
Overtime is paid after 39 hours have been worked
Hours of work are 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 3:30pm Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm
